Basic First Aid - Adult

Course Description

Properly Applied First Aid can save lives, reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between temporary disability or lifelong disability for the victim.  Program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness.  Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is shared.  Basic First Aid is the most popular program offered by ASHI.  This nationally accepted program satisfies the requirements of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).  This program can be used for community and workplace programs.

Intended Audience

All lay responders, such as firefighters, police, airline personnel, security personnel, employees in the workplace, other lay rescuers, and family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death

Cost
