We offer AHA Healthcare Provider Courses upon demand.
AHA courses cost significantly more per person per course. The only people
regulated by the State of Ohio to use AHA courses exclusively
are Dentists and Dental Hygienists. All other
Professional Boards in the State of Ohio recognize ASHI CPR as
an equivalent to AHA CPR. EMS services have universally
accepted ASHI courses because the State of Ohio Division of
EMS accept ASHI courses.
Some hospitals have refused to accept ASHI courses as
equivalent, usually those that are AHA Training Centers.
Although they have no basis for doing so they are private
institutions and may set standards as they choose, please
check with your hospital prior to selecting a course.
The fee of an AHA course as compared to an ASHI course is
approximately double.
